We’ve become an essential part of village life, especially for older residents and those without transport, reducing the need to travel and helping foster a sense of community.
In 2023, Blooming Fruity became community-owned, thanks to the support of local villagers who came together to purchase the business through a successful share offer. Today, we’re proud to continue our tradition of friendly, reliable service while expanding our range of delicious, locally sourced products.

The business was bought on behalf of the village on 25 September 2024 by a Community Benefit Society, Haddenham Community Enterprise Limited (HCEL), following a successful share offer that raised over £128,000 from some 250 investors. As a CBS, any profits that are not used to pay interest to our members or reinvested in the business will be put towards projects for the benefit of the community.
